Family Photo Shoot

Am I the only one in the world that always has a really bad day when it comes time to take family pictures? We were late, the boys hair didn't get done until we got to the studio, and to top it off I forgot my coupon and list of all the sizes that I needed to order. I'm pretty sure John thinks I belong in a loony bin after stressing over trying to get the "picture perfect" family photo. Oh well, at least Ashley isn't a baby in our family picture anymore.
I loved all the individual pictures. My children are a lot easier to photograph when they go one at a time. This last picture is a true representation of our whole "Family Picture" experience/trial.

Noah - mad and sad
Ash - Shy and slightly grouchy
Luke - bored and bored

And even with demeanor's like that, they are still the cutest kids in the world!

Ashley's Got Spidey Sense

Why is it so dang funny to see Ashley's stout little Chaffin body engulfed in a Spider-Man costume. She brought it to me and said, "Mom, I be man."

I love the pink flower in her hair,
I really think it makes the outfit!

Let the combat begin.Noah had to join in on the brawl.

Lehi's Journey

Our primary presidency is so cute. They put so much work into helping me teach my children the gospel. Here are some pictures of their quarterly activity last month. The kids were asked to bring a towel and pillow, which transformed them into characters on Lehi's journey to the promised land.

Noah was a little on the tired side of life that morning.Luke helped take care of his little Sis,
who had to be apart of the action.Hunting with Nephi's bowLesson on the liahona, inside Lehi's tentI love our ward. I love the gospel. I love my children.

5, 6, 7, 8...

If you can believe it or not it has been 10 years since I have been in the world of dance. Four years of my life were consumed and dedicated to being a Trooperette. I loved it. High school was so much fun because of dance and the girls that I danced with. After 28 years of running Trooperettes, our director, Ms. Kimble, retired. Here are some pictures of our little reunion party for her.

Here is the back of the T-Shirt
(Any of you former Trooperettes will get a kick out of it)
I pray that during high school my children bond to something they love, as I did during my years as a Trooperette!
Go Troopers!!!
