Baby Ethan

I have never anticipated labor as much as I did with this baby. All the other kids surprised me by coming early, so when this little guy decided stick with me an extra two weeks, I was a little surprised and anxious. But he made it here safely and he is beyond handsome.

We had such a hard time deciding on a name this time around. When the name Ethan was put on the table, John finally didn't shoot me down. (Mostly because he heard it on a John Wayne movie.) I thought the name was perfect except for the fact that every time I pictured an Ethan, I pictured a dark haired kid. Chances of that happening were slim, since both of us have a light hair color. So when he showed up tall, dark and handsome; I knew we had the right name.

Just look at those squeezable cheeks.


He got to come home on Easter Sunday.

Now I have the four most beautiful, perfect children in the whole world. I'm such a spoiled mommy!
