We have entered a new level of weirdness at our house. We adopted 5 new little ladies into our lives. They are the cutest chickas you will ever see. We have joined Justin and Stacey in a new adventure of raising backyard chickens. Ashley is our chicken charmer. They love her and everyone loves the chickens. We are working on finishing their awesome coop. Lets hope they last longer than our other pets. We have been fair weathered pet owners in the past.
John is one year older and wiser too. We went to our new favorite dinner destination, Steve O's, with our friends.
Then we came back home for some ice cream cake.
Happy Mothers Day to me. I love these four "little humans" more than anything. I'm am so lucky I didn't have to wait long for these awesome little angels to join our family. They give me purpose!
This doesn't happen often, mostly Noah's "scripture study" is watching the Mormon channel on the iPad, but this moment was defiantly picture worthy.
It's that time of year again, dirty faces, Dorito fingers, Gatorade mustaches, skinned up knees and the opportunity to run wild in the woods without Mom nagging them. Fathers and Sons camp out with Dad.
Us girls had fun too.
As soon as John got back in town from camping he had to head out to West Virgina for firearm training. Conveniently Ben was out of town too so Ruth and I of course had to hang out together.
Oh yeah.... and THIS happened. Aghhhh Does this mean I have to be a real adult now?
So apparently we have a free petting zoo that I never knew existed. It was a fun little day trip for Ethan and I.
My little Ashley is officially a kinder graduate. After watching her brothers before her, it was finally her turn. It brought tears to my eyes. I love kinder graduations. They sang Somewhere Over the Rainbow and did a rendition of The Very Hungry Caterpillar and then danced around to Happy by Pharrell. It was adorable.
Since John was out of town for her big day, he surprised her with a photo box to put pictures in.
She requested Which Wich for her Graduation lunch.
She received a medal for excellent attendance.
We were all excited to have dad home after missing him for a week. It was a fun reunion.

So remember how you aren't suppose to let your kids put plastic bags on their heads. Haha, well Ashley did and Luke and I decided she looks like Frankensteins bride. Silly girl.
I got to join Noah on his end of the year field trip. We went to Cattlemans and enjoyed the tree house playground, feeding the animals and going on a hay ride.
