Second Coming

I had a dream about my sister a few nights ago. The dream made no sense at all of course, except for the fact that we were reunited and we hadn’t be together for a long time. It felt so good to see her again. When I woke up I didn’t remember the dream right away. Later during the day it came back to me in bits and pieces. Now I realize I am ready to be reunited with her. I miss not having her in my life.
So I was wondering if anyone had an educated guess as to when that time might be???

Why does it smell like something is Burning?

While I was working on getting the kids to bed, every time I walked into the boys room it smelled like there was a glue gun plugged in somewhere. So I checked all the outlets and couldn't find anything. I checked to make sure my glue gun was put away. I just figured maybe it was something burning outside. Then I kind of forgot about it. We brushed teeth, and when we came back in the room, the smell was stronger. I don't know why I didn't think to check their sconce night light sooner. Sure enough there was a ball stuck in there and it was beginning to smoke! Oh my gosh, what if my beautiful home had caught on fire!! That room would have gone up in flames if the ball had gotten stuck up there after I had put them to bed. I'm so grateful it didn't.
Scary Stuff!

Here is a video of Noah explaining the whole thing. He is so cute, and I'm glad he is not on a hospital bed with skin grafts on his face!!!

What day is it???

We had the kids hide their baskets for the Easter Bunny to find. Then on Sunday Luke forgot it was Easter. He came in to wake us up and we asked him if he had something he wanted to do. His reply, " Umm can I play Indiana Jones?" Then we reminded him that he should look to see if the Easter Bunny had come to visit. It was funny to see the light bulb click on and he ran to go check things out.

Just how many unwrapped Starbursts can one 17 month old stuff into their chubby cheeks???
Ashley is a candy fanatic!

Sunny Sunday Snapshots

It was time for our annual backyard Easter Sunday picture. But it was just too sunny! hahaWhy am I the only one still attempting to look at the camera?
We settled for a porch portrait instead!

I love my Family!

A Hunting We Will Go

We didn't let a little rain, rain on our parade! We went ahead with our Easter egg hunt even though it was a little windy and wet! The rain luckily stopped just in time. Luke was so excited for the Hunt this year. He was upset that he couldn't hide the eggs with daddy, but it was all smiles once the search began! They really enjoyed smashing confetti eggs on everyone's heads, although they didn't really smash, they mostly pushed until the eggs cracked. haha

The boys were really sweet, and made sure Ashley had all the pink eggs!

Already eating his spoils!

Hippity Hoppity House and Egg Coloring

Grandma made a bunny house with Luke and Noah this year (Sorry Ash you were napping on both days we put the house together). It turned out so cute. There were three little bunnies, one for each of them!

We had to put three little peeps on top to represent our momma bird and babies that nested just above our front door this year! The boys have been constantly asking to go out front and look at them.

Egg Dye Time

Luke had little interest. He did one egg, then played with our Sorry game board instead.

Our purple dye turned black, I guess that's what you get when you use a two year old egg coloring kit.
