Birthday Boys

It's Birthday week at the Chaffin home.
Lego Star Wars for Luke and Batman for Noah.
My Noah was so excited about his cake. He couldn't wait to take his picture with it.

Off-duty agents

Bowling for Joker.

Time for gifts
Noah got a Leapster2, and he has yet to put it down. He loves it.

Look at how sweet those boys are. They were all so excited to see Luke's new Backyard Football video game.

Is it really possible that Luke is already six years old.

Noah is now my funny little four year old.
I love throwing a good birthday bash. I love the excitement and debate over what theme they want this year. I love the look on my boys faces when the balloons and streamers go up. I love how happy they both are. They are wonderful boys. I couldn't live without both of them in my life.
Happy Birthday Guke and No-no!

My Brave Little Noah

Well it has officially happened, my first child to receive stitches. While John and I were out to the movies, we got a text from my dad telling us to call. We found out that our crazy boys were wrestling and Noah fell back and hit his head on an edge of a table. Luckily with our connections, we were able to skip the trip to the ER. We called Nate, a friend in our ward who is doing his residency here, and we also called Brother Mullen, our dentist, who had all the supplies needed to stitch him up. Between the two of them, we had Noah fixed up in no time.
The super close up picture was for Noah. He wanted to see what his stitches looked like.
He was so brave. I was the one who got a little faint. Let's just hope two little stitches are the worse thing to ever happen to any of my children because I don't think I could handle anything worse.

Christmas Morning

As the boys rounded the corner to see what Santa brought them, Ashley rounded the wrong corner and headed down the hallway. I guess she doesn't have the whole Christmas morning routine down.

A scooter for Luke, a trike for Noah and a princess palace for Ashley. And a cardboard house for all!

Look at all that cute "morning hair"!

Then it was time to head over to Grandma's for "Second Christmas"

Ashley was instantly obsessed with Katelyn's horse.

Todd and Kat

Anybody want some cheese balls?
And Surprise - a little more snow to play in before the week ended. (Take note of the plastic bags over her shoes.)
Luke had to put his snap-on fur strip back on his coat when he saw that Aunt Emily had fur on her coat. I love him.
It was great to have all of us home together this year and have Kat join us for her first Larson Christmas experience. Hope everyone was as spoiled as us this Christmas!

Christmas Eve

Christmas Eve started out with a party at Great Grandma and Great Grandpa's house.
Melanie led all the kids in some carols.
Then it was off to my house for our nativity program.

Luke - Joseph (check out his beard)
Katelyn - Miss Mary (really enjoyed having a fake prego belly)
Noah - Wise man (burger king crown covered in foil)
Seth - Shepard (refused to wear his beard)
Ashley - Angel (the most beautiful one you ever did see)

The elves left a surprise outside for us......New PJ's

Pop Art Glitter Santa and five little stockings. This year's tree was absolutely beautiful!
I love Christmas!
