Gonna Go Wild Kratts

 Birthday Time at the Chaffins

Luke and Noah decided a long time ago that they wanted a Wild Kratts birthday bash.  It turned out to be one of my favorite parties to date!  Now that the boys are getting older, (8 and 6) it was fun to create fun games for them to play with their friends.  Bonus Party guests like both sets of grandparents and Aunt Andrea and kids made it all the more exciting.

What if...

Creature Power Suits

Even little Ephers got a suit

In order to receive creature power badges, they had to work for them.  First task was to turn into a chrysalis and then break free a beautiful butterfly.

Next, they had to play "Firefly Says" (Simon says).  They earned a badge and glow sticks.

To receive their last badge, they had to use their cheetah speed in order to not get their tails (streamers tucked into their pants)  pulled out by other cheetahs.  Translation, run around in the dark with your glow stick like a bunch of heathens!  This was my favorite part of the night.  Listening to the squeals of kids running around enjoying themselves was so fun.

Luke's surprise gift...A red giants hat.  He has been asking for one since football season started.

It's the same exact one Eli Manning wears.

Noah's surprise gift..

 His very first Bike!

Cakes were complete with edible creature power badges.

Boba Fett? Boba Fett? Where?

Ahh, The party is over.  We both look a little haggard, but it was well worth it!

I love my boys.  I think it's fun that they get to share their birthdays.  When they get older I am sure they will want their own parties, but for now, it works!  Happy Birthday Buppas!

An Idaho Christmas

Knock, Knock...Surprise

Grandma Chaffin went to answer the door expecting the pizza delivery guy, and got the RonJohn Clan instead.  I love surprising people!

New Pajamas for Everyone

The kids get to open their sibling gift exchange on Christmas Eve.

We had to pack up and leave the day after Christmas.  It went by way too fast, as usual.  Thanks for all the fun G-Ma and Pa and the rest of ya'all.

Love ya
