We have a new pecking order at our house!

May Recap

We have entered a new level of weirdness at our house.  We adopted 5 new little ladies into our lives.  They are the cutest chickas you will ever see.  We have joined Justin and Stacey in a new adventure of raising backyard chickens.  Ashley is our chicken charmer.  They love her and everyone loves the chickens.  We are working on finishing their awesome coop.  Lets hope they last longer than our other pets.  We have been fair weathered pet owners in the past.

John is one year older and wiser too.  We went to our new favorite dinner destination, Steve O's, with our friends.

Then we came back home for some ice cream cake.

Happy Mothers Day to me. I love these four "little humans" more than anything.  I'm am so lucky I didn't have to wait long for these awesome little angels to join our family.  They give me purpose!

This doesn't happen often, mostly Noah's "scripture study" is watching the Mormon channel on the iPad, but this moment was defiantly picture worthy.

It's that time of year again, dirty faces, Dorito fingers, Gatorade mustaches, skinned up knees and the opportunity to run wild in the woods without Mom nagging them.  Fathers and Sons camp out with Dad.

Us girls had fun too.

As soon as  John got back in town from camping he had to head out to West Virgina for firearm training.  Conveniently Ben was out of town too so Ruth and I of course had to hang out together.

Oh yeah.... and THIS happened.  Aghhhh Does this mean I have to be a real adult now?

So apparently we have a free petting zoo that I never knew existed.  It was a fun little day trip for Ethan and I.

My little Ashley is officially a kinder graduate.  After watching her brothers before her, it was finally her turn.  It brought tears to my eyes.  I love kinder graduations.  They sang Somewhere Over the Rainbow and did a rendition of The Very Hungry Caterpillar and then danced around to Happy by Pharrell. It was adorable.

Since John was out of town for her big day, he surprised her with a photo box to put pictures in.

She requested Which Wich for her Graduation lunch.

She received a medal for excellent attendance.

We were all excited to have dad home after missing him for a week.  It was a fun reunion.

Memorial Day = The Shark pool is open!

So remember how you aren't suppose to let your kids put plastic bags on their heads.  Haha, well Ashley did and Luke and I decided she looks like Frankensteins bride.  Silly girl.

I got to join Noah on his end of the year field trip.  We went to Cattlemans and enjoyed the tree house playground, feeding the animals and going on a hay ride.

That is Noahs' best bud in the background.  He is a funny little kid that talks like he is an adult and likes to talk a lot.  After I took this picture, he said "Oh I think I was in that picture too, can I see it?" haha. I had fun getting to know him on the trip. And had even more fun spending the day with my Noah-Nater.

Ethan's Five....No just Three

 April Recap

Parent Night~ This year started out hard for our Noah, but he is doing so wonderful now.  A whole new kid. He is really good at math.

Ashley has been a star student all year.  She is smart and obedient, never have any trouble with her.  Love her.  She talks all about her day when she gets home.  I know all the names of the kids in her class because she talks about everyone.  She is "practically perfect in every way!"  I want to be like her when I grow up.

Luke's favorite course is science.  He has a great science teacher that does fun experiments with them.  They dissected an owl pellet and found a mouse in it.

Crave is our new favorite breakfast destination.

Cinnamon Roll French Toast

 Biscuits and Green Chile Gravy

Kite Day at School~  Every year they have kite day where the parents get to come help fly kites during PE.  Luke was the only one that had enough wind to get our kite up.

Pinewood Derby 2014

Check out my cute table decorations.

Noah's first year racing.  He was so excited.

Both the boys placed.  Luke got first again and Noah ended up with third place.

They had some sibling races too.  Ashley used Luke's car from last year.  She had the fastest car.

Easter was pretty relaxed.  We were bummed to not be in AZ with the Lingard Larson Clan.   We did the usual baskets, egg dyeing and backyard hunt. Which turned into a late night flashlight hunt.  Had to fit nap time into our late church schedule.

Noah is stylin' in his new hipster glasses.  He doesn't really like to wear them yet.

The start of Ethan's birthday cake was a little scary. But scroll down and see that it turned out better then expected.

We just did a family party at Chuck E. Cheese's

This picture captures Ethan's slightly bossy attitude.  Noah's face makes me laugh, "I didn't touch him."

When you ask him how old he is he says five.  He won't be convinced otherwise.

Before Kelsi moved she gave us Cohen's old power wheel.  We got a new battery and gave it to E for his birthday.  He was a little timid of it at first, but now he likes it.

Stacey and I went to Las Cruces for a Zumba Dance Party.

We laughed a lot that night.  Mostly after the night ended as we were headed to the car.  I saw a gazebo that reminded me of Sound of Music.  So of course I had to run out their and sing and dance and pretend my life is a musical.  "I am 16 going on 17..." Well, apparently I'm getting a little too old for such behavior because my first leap of the bench almost rendered me with a twisted ankle.  It made us laugh till we had headaches.

Luke started a new obsession of basketball.  We put him on a city league and he loves it.  He probably with receive the "most improved' award after the season ends.  haha

Ashley's hair is so amazing, I put it up in a bun and she looked so cute.  But not for long, she made me take it out as soon as we got home from church.  It was hurting her head.  She is the most beautiful tender-headed lady ever!
