For John's Birthday this year we went over to AZ so that he could go fishing with my brother. It was such a fun little vacation for us. The kids really enjoy being around each other. And its always good to just hang out with family.

Just how many kids can you fit on Uncle Eric's recliner?Luke thought he was hot stuff in Uncle Eric's helmet.Book WormsJohn and Eric's Birthday PartyWho knew a one year old could fit so much cake in his face!
The kids got to go for a swim at Aunt Melgo's house.
Ohh isn't Jacky Boy so dang cute!Miss Katelyn and Miss LydiaAshley fell in love with all of Lyd's dress up clothes. She was in Princess Heaven

"My Faborite Color is Blue"

Noah has the ability to sit at the counter all day. As long as he has paint or play dough in front of him, he is happpy! He even enjoys wearing the paint.
Chalk face drawing is another fun occurrence in his life.
What do you think, does he deserve a spot in the
Blue Man Group?
Crazy Noah-Nader!

What a Little Lady

No more Monkeying Around

Luke has done it. He has successfully completed a full year of Pre-K! He really learned a lot this year, more than I imagined a little five year old could. He learned things like what a parallelogram is and he was able to watch a caterpillar turn into a chrysalis and then transform into a butterfly.

What a stud!

Class mascot....The Monkeys, how fitting for my little monkey.

I look forward to the day when he gets to graduate from college. I'm sure he is going to grow up to have a very studious, high paid, respected profession. All thanks to me, for putting him in pre-school and giving him a head start! haha

Universal Law of Reciprocation

In my busy day to day life, I can sometimes forget what the real moments of the day are made up of. Lately I have been putting extra effort into focusing on those moments. With our Body for Life challenge, John and I each have to perform two acts of kindness throughout the day. You may be asking yourself, "What does that have to do with a diet?" But really it makes sense, give to others unselfishly, and in return, they will help you. Help you to increase friendships and help you to feel fulfillment in your life. Which then converts into, "OK I guess I can keep eating healthy and exercising."

With three kids, sometimes it feels overwhelming to juggle all their little emotions everyday. I have been rotating our kids names each day and trying to focus specifically on their needs and wants for that day. The Royal treatment from mom, for a whole day.

So today on Luke Day, Luke begged me to lay in bed with him after the lights were out. I was about to go watch a movie. Normally would have said, "No, you need to get some sleep Lukers" and headed for my movie. Instead I snuggled up to my Lukey and he offered me some of his covers. He put his forehead to mine and said...

"Mom, Do you have head lice?"

That was a moment I never want to forget. I never want to forget just how funny, cute and crazy a five year old is.

Maybe if I don't forget these funny moments, it won't be so shocking when this baby..........

Turns into this Boy!!!!
