Yet Another Trip to AZ

Arizona has become our home away from home. We always have so much fun at Eric and Andrea's. Now any time we have been on the road for a thirty minute drive anywhere, Luke says. "Oh I know where we are going, we are going to Katelyn's house, aren't we!" haha

The reason for our trip this time, John and my dad wanted to run in Pats Run this year. Pats Run is the signature annual fund raising event for the Pat Tillman Foundation. They, and a bunch of other family, ran in it and are planning on making it a yearly tradition.

Always a princess dress up party at Aunt Melgo's.

Check out that face. Seth is such a funny kid.

It isn't a trip to Arizona without an IKEA outing.

Last stop of the trip. In-n-out. Ohh so good.

Until next time, which probably won't be that long from now. haha

MarJar In EP

We love Jared and Mary for making a special trip out to El Paso just to visit with us. It was great to meet our new niece Ellie.

Grandma hitched a ride, so it was an extra fun family reunion.
Plus she saved us postage by coming on her birthday. haha

Baby Ellie, how cute is she. Such a sweet baby.

Grandma got to stay an extra week. We had a lot of fun, spent way too much money, and ate out way too much while the kitchen renovation started.

Grandma's surprise birthday party.

Noah really couldn't put down that yummy corn on the cob.
Come and visit us again!

Clark Clan Family Photos

We updated our family picture this past Christmas. Our cousin Sarah took the pictures in downtown EP. Aside from a few red noses from the cold, they turned out great.

Check em' out!

I lost Luke's sweater, found it months later in the primary closet. (mmm, looking back I wish I hadn't gotten mad at him that day.

Kitchen Catastrophe Cleared

Wondering where I have been? Well, consumed with my kitchen, that's where. The dust has settled, and we are now officially mold and fungus free. I still can't believe that this is my kitchen.

We widened the kitchen, which made a huge difference. Now there is room to waltz!

Moving the kitchen out ruined the old tile, so naturally I had to pick out a beautiful 18 inch tile to go down in it's place. Some of my favorite features...

The fully extending pull out tray drawer.

Deep drawers, right next to the dishwasher for quick unloading, and at a kid friendly height so the kids can help set the table.

The spice/bread drawer accessible from either side.
Not to mention granite countertops, undermount sink, pull out shelves and slow-close hinges.

Mold, Mold go away... and the arm of one of our workers. Good ol' Manny!
They had to rip out all the sheetrock behind the cabinets.
John loves me. And I him! Also, Out with the old bathroom vanity.... and Oh the Seashell sink......Bane of my Existence!
So long SUCKA!
...in with the new!

Check out my new mood lighting!

Oh my gosh pinch me, I'm dreaming!

PS I look forward to a stainless steel fridge and pantry doors to match the cabinetry. You know, after the wallet fattens up again.
