The Shark Pool

I love that my children get to spend their summers at the same neighborhood pool as I did when I was their age. We have been at the pool every minute this summer.

Luke learned how to swim!!! Now he is jumping off the board and going down the slide all by himself.

Noah is a snorkeling fiend. He loves swimming around with his face in the water.

Ethan spends most of his time napping in his car seat or dipping his toes in the baby pool.

Ashley has about 5 million swim suits to choose from this year. So she is always very stylin'.(Thank you Andrea) She loves to lean back in the water to get her hair wet and pretend to be a mermaid.

I just love the fact that we have somewhere to go to cool down and get away from the TV/computer! It's been an amazing summer so far. I feel lucky for all that I have and that I get to be a stay at home mom.

Life is good!

Ethan's Blessing

Hanging out with his buddy Paul.

Our venture out to Luke's school carnival, pretty much the most ghetto carnival ever.

"Good Morning Ethan, it is time to get ready for your blessing."

Andrea and kids, plus my parents came in town for the "blessed event"

If you ever wondered which side Ethan got his mouth from, here is the evidence. He's all Larson.

John grilled up some smokin' hot burgers!

Our First Family Pic

Mmm, probably should of tried harder to get a good pic of him. oops

Hearing the blessings that you know can come your childs way is a unique experience. Ethan may not be that old, but I can already promise you he is going to be someone big someday, someone of importance. He has a killer personality that we can't get enough of at this house. We love him!

Arizona Bound...Again

Yet another trip to AZ. My Grandpa's 80th birthday bash was not something I was going to miss. I was pretty impressed with the fact that I went to Arizona all by myself with 4 kids loaded up into the back of the van. My Mom was the only one that knew we were coming, so it made for a fun surprise when my Dad open the door to find us all standing there.

Grandma reading them a bedtime story.

Headed to the Lake, a first for me and mine!
My kids were so excited.

Andrea and I went down to the picnic area with the babies and waited for the boat to come around carrying everybody else. We waited and waited.....well the boat never left the dock, it was busted. Dang, I guess our Lake experience is going to have to wait until next trip. So we just let the kids splash around in the water. They had a lot of fun regardless, wish I could say the same for the men. Eric and my Dad were not happy campers.

Ashley almost drowned. She had on a life vest that was too big. She lost her footing in the water and the vest made it so that she was stuck face down in the water. Scary! (We have already lost one Ashley, I couldn't handle losing another.)

The desert is so beautiful.

Katelyn was giving Ashley ballet lessons.

Seth and his superman t-shirt that he can't live without.

Grandpa and Grandma's surprise party.

I miss not having my grandparents close by. I was convinced them moving was going to be a bad thing. Now I realize that was just me being selfish, they really look happy in their new Arizona life.

All lined up for a horsey ride. Thanks again Uncle Mike!

And Ethan... never left the car seat the whole party! Such a sweet little guy, although I didn't get to show him off.

I love the fact that my family is such a short distance away. Now if I could only find a way to get Idaho to not be so dang far!
