Katelyn's Happy "Dino" Day

My cute little niece did not have a princess party or anything close to it this year, No she had to have a Dinosaur party! hahaThere was a dinosaur hunt, lava rock jump game, dino cookie decorating, and an attacking T-Rex (John) protecting his candy from all the little children. And even Dinosaur shaped chicken nuggets for dinner.

PS Don't even ask about the spiderman costume. The kid lives in it.

Thanksgiving

We had a beautiful Thanksgiving this year.

My Favorite Thanksgiving memory from this year was defiantly the Ty Beanie Bears. My mom went up into her attic and picked out some of Aunt Ashley's Beanie Buddies for all the little kids. While the children were entertained in the nursery with "Day Care By Emma and Kenley", we set up a table with a bear in each chair. Then the kids came running in and got to pick out a bear to share Thanksgiving dinner with.

So I am thankful my sister had such and extensive collection of Beanie Babies, so that everyone could have a piece of her, this Thanksgiving. My kids have yet to stop dragging their bears around with them everywhere they go! (Tear)

Ok so I used to love to do puzzles when I was younger, but pretty much gave up that delightful past time since Luke could pull himself up to a table. SO very very randomly, John and my mom both decided to purchase roll away puzzle kits for me. Hurray for me I get to stay up late again, doing not one but two puzzles! haha

Tis' the Season to be Windy

Well, we didn't have to travel very far to find ourselves a perfect tree for Christmas this year. haha

75 mile per hour wind can do some damage, wouldn't you say.

Purse Party

Ashleys obsession with purses has started at a young age. Her birthday party plans changed due to the flood. But it actually ended up being perfect. It was fun to have a quiet Birthday at Grandma and Grandpa's.

Good Morning Ashley Doodle Head. I love that they have "Squinty Chaffin Eyes" when they wake up.

Her cake was almost as gorgeous as she was.

The Giant Tootsie Roll handle was my favorite aspect of the cake.

She had to put every bag she opened over her arm.

On her real birthday, she got to open her gift from G-Ma and G-Pa Chaffin.

She was totally spoiled rotten that day.... OK OK she is spoiled rotten everyday. What can I say, I love the kid! Happy 2nd B-Day Ash.
