Yay! I'm glad to see he doesn't need it anymore. I was showing Brody the pictures and he asked why Noah had his Gucky. Then he ran away to his room to make sure it was there.I told Brody that Noah has the same blanket, and he said "A Gucky just like mine!?"
Did you just take it away cold turkey? Kimball is now two and the dentist is insisting I take it away now... How did you do it? He's pretty attached and I dread putting him to sleep without it!
was and is not the most pleasant experience. I did the “cut the tip” trick, and once he saw that it was broken he was mad and didn’t want anything to do with it. Now I have to rock him until he is almost asleep and then put him in bed. (before I just plopped him in bed and kissed him good night) and putting both boys to bed at the same time no longer works either. I have to put one in and then sneak the other one in later, so annoying. But it has only been one week, so I hope it just keeps getting better from this point on. Trust me don’t wait as long as I did with noah. Luke was so easy at 18 months. The younger the easier, I think.
Yeah, that stinks that it didn't go so smoothly. With Bryce I just let him cry. Do you think that would work with Noah? You're probably too nice though - I'm kind of a mean mom. Good luck - I hope it gets easier. I agree earlier is easier.
Tamra – I would just let him cry, if he would. He just laughs and jumps on his bed!!! That binkie worked as well as chloroform. He is starting to get the hang of putting him self to sleep without it though. Im not too worried about it.
I'm thinking about taking Embry's away as soon as summer is over. It was soo easy with the other three, so I'm sure this one is going to be torture. I'm glad it's working for you! Wish me luck!
