So we read in the paper that the Toys r Us store was going to do a Thomas Day, with book readings, coloring pages, trading cards and lots of other fun Thomas stuff. So we told the boys about it all week and got them revved up to go. Saturday morning we rushed over in our conductor attire, to find that they had canceled it due to lack of participation. Luke was distressed. So John pestered all the employees until he found one that talked to a manager and got a hold of some coloring pages and cards. So all in all it turned out to be a fun trip. And now Luke keeps quizzing me on all the names of the train cars, because I guess I am supposed to know all of them just like he does.

Poor little Lukey, thats like when we told Kyle about the train at the park all day and then we bought tickets, got on it, took pictures, and made it about 10 feet before the train de-railed and we all had to get off. Talk about disappointment! haha... I also wanted to comment on how good you guys are doing on your scripture reading- I'm so impressed! I ashamed to say I didn't take the challenge... I suppose I still could. Also Baby Ashley looks so grown up. I can't wait to see her.
So sad!! What a disappointment for two little guys! Glad John hassled them for some freebies!!
Oh, I hate when that happens to kids! Poor little Lukey. At least its good to know it doesn't take much to make them happy- a few coloring pages and they think it's great! I'm always amazed at the simple pleasures they get out of life. Ashley is so big and cute!!
yep, we need to go to the park tomorrow. call and to say what time you will be going. that's too bad about the train thing being cancelled, but Luke still looks pretty happy! I'm glad they got to wear their train hats, Brody recognized them from his party and was so excited to tell me he has one too.
See you are a fun cool mom to sorry about the turn out of it. I would tell you that your kids are cute but i think you already know that. i just want to squeeze them. Your moms blanket was amazing. She awesome.
Poor Luke and Noah! At least they got something out of it!! Tell you what I will do.....I will have a Thomas party at my house just for the boys...all you have to do is come down for a visit! Deal?
